And so a year has passed… we have achieved a lot and I am mighty proud.
With all the craziness happening in the world today, let us think about our past year as we celebrate our FIRST anniversary at Oslo Soup. Today a year ago, on a probably cold and rainy November afternoon Lo, Tara, Giulia and myself founded Oslo Soup. And what a ride it has been.. Let’s recap and reminisce.
– Two successful Oslo Soup events
– One hopefully equally successful Oslo Soup event just around the corner
– Eight amazing presented projects
– Two incredible winners
– Plenty of mugs collected
– 20+ loyal and amazing partners
– About 9 000 NOK raised
Writing this, I feel I can finally practice my Academy Award thank you speech… so here we go: (and it might sound cheesy) 🙂 I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your ongoing support. Without you none of the above would have been achieved, thank you to all volunteers, partners, friends and family. My Oscar speech would go on, but I will stop here for now.
We cannot wait for another year, more soups, volunteers, projects… and while we are at it, please mark your calendars for the 11. December for our third and last event of the year. – We will have more fantastic community projects you can support, so don’t be shy and come on by (yes, I do know I am quite the poet).
Let’s finish off the year with a bang.
